Kaylee likes to sleep on top of me. That will be handy tonight since a cold front came through this morning. (We don't have heat; it died and we can't afford to replace it. You can live without heat in Houston - it's a/c that's essential.)
You might be surprised at what Abby can do. Take some obedience, rally or agility classes and find out if she likes being your partner and teammate. If not, she's still your beloved dog regardless.
